Use Better Materials

Where we can use renewable resources, we do. For example, our linoleum is made from linseed oil, sawdust, wood, cork and jute. And our iQ products contain 64 percent natural raw material, like salt and mineral filler. Our Replay sports flooring is made from post-consumer recycled content, recycled rubber tires. In fact, Replay has kept over 10 million pounds of tires out of landfills. Because our Millwork® base is a realistic-looking substitute for wood base, it contributes to forest conservation. Another key to better materials is performance life. We have many flooring solutions that have a functional life of 30 years or more, reducing the materials and energy necessary for frequent replacement.
