Reuse and Recycle

Our parent company, Tarkett®, recycled the first homogeneous tile back in 1957. And we created RESTART™, a material reclamation program that allows us to recycle replace® demountable wall base and Interlock and Underlock™ rubber tile into new product. We also take back used sampling materials as part of the RESTART™ program. Our linoleum contains 15 percent post-consumer recycled content, and our Triumph tiles are backed with reprocessed off-spec product. But we are also constantly striving to create reusable products. Take rePLACE™, for example. Because it installs with no adhesive, it can be reused over and over again. And we make several flooring tiles that install with no adhesive and releasable adhesives so they can be picked up, moved and used again.
